chesse Platform Privacy Notice

This page describes what we collect when you use chesse and how we keep that data protected. We at chesse take data privacy seriously—your identity documents, payment methods, and betting history belong to you, and we handle them according to Indonesian data-protection principles and international best practices.

Our chesse platform processes personal information only to operate your account, process deposits and withdrawals, verify your identity for compliance, and provide customer support. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes without your explicit consent. This notice explains our practices in plain language.

We encourage you to read this privacy notice carefully. If you have questions about how we handle your data on chesse, reach out to our support team. We remain transparent about our data practices and your rights.

What Data We Collect on chesse

Account Information

When you create a chesse account, we collect your email address and a password you choose. Your email is used for account recovery, deposit confirmations, withdrawal approvals, and support communications. We do not share your email with third parties and do not use it for unsolicited marketing.

Identity Verification Data

To comply with Know-Your-Customer (KYC) regulations, we require you to upload a government-issued ID (national ID card, passport, or driver's license) and a selfie. Our chesse verification partner processes these documents using automated image recognition and manual review. We store your verified name, date of birth, and ID number in an encrypted database separate from your account balance and betting history.

We keep identity documents for the duration of your chesse account plus a retention period mandated by Indonesian financial regulations. If you close your account, we maintain your KYC data for the legally required timeframe, then securely delete it. You have the right to request deletion after legal retention periods expire—contact our support team to initiate this request.

Note: Our chesse KYC process is one-time. Once verified, you do not need to resubmit documents unless your registered name, address, or document changes materially. This reduces friction while maintaining compliance.

Payment Information

We collect information about your chosen deposit and withdrawal methods—your DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment account details, e-wallet identifier, or bank virtual-account reference. For bank transfers via mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, we store your registered account name and virtual-account number. We do not store your PIN, password, or OTP (one-time password) for any payment method.

Payment processing on chesse is handled through encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. Your payment details are tokenized—meaning we store a reference code, not your actual account credentials. When you withdraw, we route funds to your verified payment method on file. We do not permit transfers to accounts registered under different names or to third parties.

Transaction and Betting History

We log all deposits, withdrawals, and bets placed on chesse. This includes the date, time, amount, payment method used, and outcome. We store this history to provide you with an auditable record, to detect fraudulent patterns, and to comply with financial anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations. Your betting history is your own—you can download it from your chesse account dashboard at any time.

We also collect device information—your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifier—to detect unauthorized access attempts and protect your account from compromise. If we notice login attempts from unusual locations or devices, we may require additional verification or notify you via email.

How We Use Your Data on chesse

Account Operations

We use your data to create and maintain your chesse account, process your deposits and withdrawals, settle your bets, and provide customer support. When you request a withdrawal, our fraud team reviews your transaction against your account history and verified identity to ensure legitimacy. This review protects you from unauthorized withdrawals and complies with financial regulations.

Compliance and Legal Obligations

We are required by Indonesian law to verify the identity of account holders and to maintain records of financial transactions. We use your data to comply with Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) regulations. We may also disclose data to law enforcement, tax authorities, or regulatory bodies if legally required by court order or valid government request.

We do not voluntarily share your data with law enforcement. If a government agency requests your data, we comply with legal process and notify you of the request unless legally prohibited from doing so.

Third-Party Processors

We engage third-party service providers to process certain data on our behalf. These include:

  • Identity verification provider: Processes your ID and selfie to verify your identity. This provider does not retain your documents beyond verification completion.
  • Payment gateway partners: Handle deposits and withdrawals from your DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, and bank accounts. These partners are PCI-DSS certified and maintain their own privacy policies.
  • Fraud detection service: Analyzes your transaction patterns to detect suspicious activity and protect your account.
  • Cloud infrastructure provider: Hosts our chesse servers and databases. Our servers may be located outside Indonesia, subject to international data-transfer safeguards.

All third-party processors are contractually bound to use your data only for the specific purpose we provide it and to maintain data security standards equivalent to or higher than our own.

Your Rights on chesse

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, subject to legal and operational constraints. You can view your account information, transaction history, and payment methods directly in your chesse account dashboard. If you find incorrect information, contact our support team and we will correct it within a reasonable timeframe.

You have the right to request deletion of your chesse account and associated personal data. However, we must retain your identity verification and transaction records for the period required by Indonesian financial law—typically five years from your last transaction. After that retention period, we will delete your data upon request.

You may also object to certain uses of your data, such as automated fraud detection. However, please note that disabling security measures may compromise your account safety, and we may be unable to process deposits or withdrawals without essential data.

Data Breach and Security Incidents

We maintain industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. These include encryption in transit and at rest, firewalls, intrusion detection, and regular security audits. Our chesse team undergoes security training and undergoes periodic background checks.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law. We maintain incident response procedures to minimize impact and prevent recurrence. You can request details about any security incident affecting your account by contacting our support team.

Cookies and Tracking

Our chesse website and app use cookies to remember your login preferences, language settings, and device identifiers. These cookies help us provide a seamless experience across sessions. We use analytics cookies to understand how users navigate chesse, identify technical issues, and improve our platform. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized—we do not track individual betting patterns for marketing purposes.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of your chesse account. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies.

Our chesse platform remains committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently. Your account security and data confidentiality are fundamental to how we operate. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve your concerns directly.
